Project 1727 – 8 ¼” James Hardie® Primed Lap Siding with Primed White Trim & Belly Bands | New GAF® Roofing System + Exterior Painted with Sherwin-Williams® Resilience®

For Project 1727, Alpine Exteriors completed a full exterior system upgrade featuring 8 ¼” James Hardie® Primed Cedarmill Lap Siding, clean primed 5/4×4 white trim, and bold 5/4×8 belly bands — delivering a timeless, Northwest-ready profile. This transformation also included a complete GAF® roofing system replacement and a full exterior paint finish using Sherwin-Williams® Resilience®, designed to withstand the Pacific Northwest’s toughest climate conditions.

The original exterior showed significant signs of wear and age, with cracking siding, failing roof shingles, and peeling paint that had begun to expose underlying materials to moisture. Once our team removed the compromised components, we performed any required rot repairs and weatherproofing upgrades, sealing the home in HardieWrap® weather barrier for long-term structural protection.

Our certified installation crew installed the new fiber cement siding with code-compliant flashing and stainless fasteners, ensuring a tight seal and durable, long-lasting performance. We then replaced the entire roofing system with GAF® architectural shingles, giving the home a new high-performance roof backed by manufacturer warranties and Alpine’s trusted craftsmanship.

The entire exterior was then coated in Sherwin-Williams® Resilience® — a mold- and mildew-resistant paint engineered for fade protection, flexible adhesion, and rapid curing in unpredictable weather.
